Performance Kit™
 The
Performance Kit™ is designed for shops that sell mid to high end
bicycles. It has diagnostic capabilities with
our Fit Kit Pro™ Software. You can experiment with various bike frames and stem angles to accommodate the developmental starting position recommended by our propietary fitting system.
When you are happy with the starting position you recommend for a customer, you can print out the fitting for that
customer with your own store logo. These diagnostic tools enable you to provide
performance fits, retrofits, and confidently order custom bicycles.
 The Performance Kit™ comes with a Frame Angle Finder to verify the seat tube angle and make any accommodations for variations from the 72.5 degree seat tube angle upon which our bike fitting numbers are based. The Level One Instructional CD that comes with your kit has more information on making these accomodations and many other fitting tips and guidelines that will help you and your staff become better skilled at fitting your bicycle customers.
The Performance Kit™ also includes the Seat Height/Positioning Tool™ which will make your job of setting the 3 points of contact on the bicycle much easier and more accurate.
Many dealers ask if they need a size cycle to use our fitting
system. You can use our system with a size cycle, but it is not necessary.
You can use our projections from the fitting tables to do the initial setup
on a size cycle. Our system will help those with a size cycle to get to the
fine tuning stage more quickly. Ultimately, this will free you up to fit more
customers. We recommend that fine tuning be done on the actual bike being
purchased by setting it up on a trainer and then watching the customer ride
outside. In the case of custom bikes, fine tuning is done after the bike arrives.
Our system also works well with "The Right Bike" program
by Trek. Once again, our proprietary fitting tables have proven to be effective
in finding a safe, developmental starting position no matter what system you
use in your shop.
