Do you sell clipless pedal systems?
If so, gain additional revenue by aligning those cleats for your customers. It will be an appreciated service since non-aligned bike cleats can cause rotational
stresses on the knee, hip or ankle resulting in:
- Difficult entry and exit into the clipless bike pedal system
- Premature release from the clipless bike pedal during a sprint on a road bicycle
- Premature release from the clipless bike pedal while finessing a mountain bicycle through difficult terrain
- Stress related injury to the knee, hip or ankle

Tutorials Available Online
The Fit Kit System is not a set of rules you have to follow. It is
a set of tools that work like a map and compass, giving you a frame of reference
so that you can guide your customers "home" to a good bicycle fit.
This tutorial will help you develop the mindset of
a fitting technician.
Are you charging for your fitting
services? If not, you are missing a valuable source of revenue for your
shop. Learn some ideas that will help you set up a profitable bicycle fitting
station.
In order to help you use your fitting devices correctly, we
have included a tutorial on how to take the body measurements.
We recommend that you print out this tutorial as a reference and training
tool for your staff.
We have added another tutorial on fine tuning the rider's position
on the bicycle and how to use the plumb bob device.
It is important to use the plumb bob to set the fore-aft position of the saddle
before your customer leaves with a new bicycle from your shop.
We also show you how to use the the Universal Mountain Adapter Plate
for SPD style cleats. The material contained in this tutorial applies to using
all our adapter plates in the RAD cleat
alignment system. This tutorial is geared toward those learning or improving
their skills with our Rotational Adjustment Devices (RADs).
We've included two short segments from the Fit Kit™ Master Manual on bicycle fitting for Triathlons. This tutorial is geared to fine tuning the triathlete's position.
