This is an alternate method for determining the starting seat tube angle. As with the Thigh Bench, this tool determines the thigh/inseam ratio and seat tube angle, which along with saddle height and fore/aft, will determine the saddle position and allow for correct rider positioning over the bottom bracket and crank. The S.T.A.D.T. utilizes a laser measurement system which makes obtaining the femur measurement easier and more accurate than the Thigh Bench and is more comfortable for the rider. The STADT device may also used to determine many other positioning parameters.
